Minaret song: sun sets, prayers rise.
Posted in Haiku |
This is, of course, inspired by my business trip to Turkey last week. I find the Muslim call to prayer beautiful and mysterious as it echoes throughout the hills. My thanks to stock.xchng for the photo.
Oh, loved this. The one-line haiku is just perfect… I love the movement in it… Thank you!
Gorgeous. Like it’s echoing simplicity.
This is wonderful, I love how the skyline of the city is small at the bottom of the exapnse of the sky and the haiku is lovely.
I didn’t even see the towers at first. Great photo and haiku.
Just beautiful. So simple, but what impact.
I like the picture the one-liner paints all by itself. (It’s a lovely photo, too.)
I am so glad that I came by for a visit. Your writing inspires.
Minaret song set the tone, worked beautifully.
Lovely.
This is beautiful.
Simple but perfect. There are sounds and movement and a strong sense. Visually complimented by the image.
Your haiku is a perfect compliment to the photo. Lovely!
The photo and haiku work so well together. I love its simplicity.
Just to clarify: the haiku was written before seing the photo.
This is a beautiful line!
