Day’s first light erupts in chirps, coos, caws and cackles nature’s alarm clock
Posted in Haiku |
The joke about the roster disturbing neighbors too early is alive and well at the house behind me. I have never minded though. The roster’s call in the morning, joined with other birds is a great way to greet the day.
Oh, yes, quite an alarm clock, aren’t they? Nice haiku.
I loved this one. I’ll keep it in mind when that early morning noise wakes me before I’m ready!
Wonderful sounds created in your haiku with the “chirps, coos, caws and cackles” — I loved this! And what a perfect way to wake up.
I love the dawn chorus!
So true!! I love the alliteration of the chirps, coos, caws and cackles.
Well caught. Its good to think about the sounds as well as the sights that birds inspire.
I just love the way your haiku sounds!
