Sunday Morning
dani
Sunday morning sneaks into my bed
with hurried steps muffled by footy pyjamas.
Two warm bodies still smelling of dreams,
of innocence, burrow under the covers,
each cuddling into the warmth and reassurance
found beneath a protective wing and good-morning kisses.
Eyes still shut against an undecided day,
hearing only our breathing in unison—my favorite moment—
melded together, like before they were born.
Then sleep is chased away. Yawns are replaced by giggles.
Words are whispered and spirits ignite.
It is a morning of blanket tents and tickles.

I loved tents and tickles- I wish I could remember if I did that with my parents- crawling into bed to be with them…
This was just so wonderful…

Pepek-
Those little icon thingies let you submit an article directly to various social bookmarking sites (like Digg or Blogmemes, for example). Good old Wikipedia explains it best:
“The Social bookmarking sites are a popular way to store, classify, share and search links through the practice of folksonomy techniques on the Internet or Intranet.”
Basically, when you think something on the web is cool, you can post it on these services to share with others.

I love how concrete this poem is… while you never name the subject, it is so clear and easy to envision.

I like this a lot, the clarity. I especially liked your first line–Sunday morning sneaked into my bed. Very nice.
