Thinking Blogger Award
dani
Yikes, I’ve been tagged with a
for this post, which is nothing more than a collection of what others have already said! That must mean I have to come up with something even more profound than usual in order to deserve this honor bestowed on me by Meredith from Poppy Fields. (Thanks!)
As part of the ritual, I must pass the flame on to five other Thinking Bloggers. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to re-tag bloggers that have already received the award or tag blogs that aren’t really blogs in the traditional sense of the word, so sorry if I break some unwritten blog etiquette. But here it goes.
1) Citizen of the Month, written by Neil Kramer for this great poem.
2) Paris Parfait for her amazing post on Darfur (she’s already received one recently, but I couldn’t resist).
3) Poppy Fields (Back at you Meredith) for her post on patience, aging and neighborliness, although the Albert one is still my favorite.
4) Poetry Thursday and especially this post by Claire Harnett on poetic form or lack thereof
5) One Deep Breath for their weekly haiku prompts, which keep my creative juices flowing
How participation works:
If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
Optional: Display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.

Dani, congratulations to you for the well-deserved recognition. And congrats to the other people you’ve nominated. Yikes - it’s the third time for me! I’m flattered and thank you for the acknowledgement. Will nominate five more people this weekend.

Dani - I’ve been blogging for two years, and I’ve never felt so honored. And for a poem! My god.

Neil,
It could have been for any of your posts, but reading this poem is the first time I “met” your blog, so it has special meaning to me.
